Before we start,  make sure to get a copy of the owner’s manual which you can download at www.sonnysdirect.com and review all the safety information related to this procedure.


   Gather the tools and supplies you’ll need which are:

  • Safety glasses
  • 8-foot step ladder
  • White lithium grease spray
  • Clean cloth.

   Once you have everything ready the first thing you need to do is: 

  1. There are several flip options that Sonnys uses to aid in the drying process such as round and square nozzle top blower flip nozzles and pivoting mammoth.
  2. The maintenance of these is simple yet important to aid in the quality of drying and longevity of operation.
  3. Daily inspect the smooth operation of any pivoting function
  4. Weekly inspect timing it is important that you inspect timing to get the best drying possible.
  5. It is possible that because of changes in weather or air quality different pivoting functions may get out of time.
  6. ALL Sonnys pivoting nozzles have flow controls that can be adjusted for fine-tuning of individual applications.
  7. Monthly, Inspect all hardware and cylinder rod ends for tightness and wear.
  8. Grease all cylinders with white lithium grease in the extend position and wipe clean with a rag.
