Before we start,  make sure to get a copy of the owner’s manual which you can download at www.sonnysdirect.com and review all the safety information related to this procedure.

Gather the tools and supplies you’ll need which are:

  • Safety Glasses
  • Flathead screwdriver.
  •  Multimeter.

Once you have everything ready the first thing you need to do is:

  1. Remove the packed head cover on top of the switch.
  2. Find the 2 red cables.
  3. With a multimeter, check continuity, if you have continuity the switch is good if not check the oil level first if the level is good means your switch is bad.
  4. Cover the packed head back.

Note:    The level switch must be checked every week just in case you have a leak. It will cut the power preventing you from leaking all the oil from the tank on your power pack.
