Before we start,  make sure to get a copy of the owner’s manual which you can download at www.sonnysdirect.com and review all the safety information related to this procedure.

Gather the tools and supplies you’ll need which are:

  • Safety Glasses
  • Multimeter.

Once you have everything ready the first thing you need to do is:

The low-level switch is a device installed in one of the sides of the water tank, and it should be connected to the motor contactor on the MCC.  The purpose of this switch is to prevent running the pump dry when no water is coming in to fill the tank back.

 Steps:

  1. Find the low-level switch.
  2. With the multimeter, check the continuity of the switch.
  3. If you don’t have a multimeter, while the pump is running push the switch down, it should cut the power right away and when you let it go, it should start running again.
