Before we start, make sure to get a copy of the owner’s manual which you can download at www.sonnysdirect.com and review all the safety information related to this procedure.
Gather the tools and supplies you’ll need which are:
- Safety Glasses
- 9/16" Wrench
- 9/16" Drive Socket
- Permanent Marker
Once you have everything ready the first thing you need to do is:
To adjust the pressure applied to the vehicle, the mounting position and the spring position of the shocks can be changed.
- With the permanent marker, make a mark where the shock bracket is mount.
- Using the ¾” wrench and ¾” socket loosen the 4 bolts that are holding the bracket into the arm.
- If you need more pressure, move the bracket towards the bearings, if you need less pressure, move the towards the cloth.
- Tighten the 4 bolts.
- Cloth penetration should be about three to four inches.
