Before we start,  make sure to get a copy of the owner’s manual which you can download at www.sonnysdirect.com and review all the safety information related to this procedure.

Gather the tools and supplies you’ll need which are:

  • Safety Glasses
  • 9/16" Wrench
  • 9/16" Drive Socket
  • Permanent Marker

Once you have everything ready the first thing you need to do is:

To adjust the pressure applied to the vehicle, the mounting position and the spring position of the shocks can be changed.
  1. With the permanent marker, make a mark where the shock bracket is mount.
  2. Using the ¾” wrench and ¾” socket loosen the 4 bolts that are holding the bracket into the arm.
  3.  If you need more pressure, move the bracket towards the bearings, if you need less pressure, move the towards the cloth.
  4. Tighten the 4 bolts.
  5. Cloth penetration should be about three to four inches.
