Before we start,  make sure to get a copy of the owner’s manual which you can download at www.sonnysdirect.com and review all the safety information related to this procedure.

Gather the tools and supplies you’ll need which are:

  •  Safety Glasses

Once you have everything ready the first thing you need to do is:

  1. In the backroom, find a 4-way air valve controlling the air cylinder.
  2. The ports on the left side are the exhaust and the one in the center is the air feed port, this one has a regulator that must be set to 65 PSI (retract function)
  3. On the right side, we have 2 ports, the one on top (2) is normally closed and has a regulator, this is the one we use for inward (extended) position. This regulator must be set to 0-15 PSI for DS and 0-25 PSI for the PS.  Press the silver bottom to adjust the regulator to the desired PSI, turning the knob on the bottom of the regulator, clockwise, increases the PSI and CCW decreases the PSI.
