1. Log out tag out the equipment, (close the water and cut the power)
  2. Remove the regulator and suction line from the pump.
  3. Remove all bolts and lock washers around the manifold plate, do not remove four bolts that are installed through back of pump housing, using a 5/16” Allen head wrench.

 

      4. With 3/8-in.(10-mm) hex Allen wrench, remove center bolt and washer in center of manifold. CAUTION: Do not turn the pump drive shaft while the manifold is off the pump.

 

         5. Inspect each valve assembly for debris.

 

         6.  When you are inserting the outer valves, please make sure the open window in the plastic retainer is facing the inside valves.

 

          7.  Apply a little Vaseline to the 3 O-rings (only to keep them in place), reinstall manifold onto valve plate, be sure drain plug is at bottom of manifold when you are putting the plate back.

 

          8.  Install the center bolt first, do not tighten at this point, leave it loose.

 

          9.  Install all 11 bolts and tighten them in a star pattern. Alternately tighten opposite bolts until all are secure. (Torque.to.45ft-lbs)

 

 

        10.  Torque center bolt to 45 ft-lbs.

        11.  Install the supply line to pump inlet, connect the pump discharge line and regulator.

        12.  Open the water and then with the pump running, unscrew the regulator just enough to let the air escape, once you see only water coming out, tighten it back.
