Before we start,  make sure to get a copy of the owner’s manual which you can download at www.sonnysdirect.com and review all the safety information related to this procedure.

Gather the tools and supplies you’ll need which are the following:

  • Safety Glasses
  • ¼” Allen Wrench,
  • 7/8” Wrench,
  • 12 oz. Squeeze Bottle,
  • Rag
  • Oil Pan.

Once you have everything ready the first thing you need to do is:

  1. Close the air supply and make sure there is no pressure in the line,
  2. Place the oil pan under the reservoir,
  3. With the ¼” Allen Wrench, loosen the Allen screw on top of the reservoir,
  4. Very carefully, with the ¼” Allen Wrench, loosen and remove the Allen screw at the bottom of the reservoir and flush the fluid out of the reservoir.
  5. With the rag, clean the glass cup and the surrounding areas
  6. Make sure any liquid remaining is not contaminated. Re-install the Allen screw at the bottom and tighten the screw, but don’t over-torque.
  7. Remove the top Allen screw with the ¼” Allen wrench,
  8. To fill the reservoir, find a squeeze bottle and the desired fluid you want to use. Remove the top reservoir cap oil, and squeeze all the liquid in.
  9. After it reaches  ¾ of the Reservoir level, plug the top hole with the ¼” Allen screw, make sure it's tight, but again, not over-torqued.
  10. Finally, Open the air supply valve and check for any air or fluid leak.
