Tire Brush Air Connection
- Connect the FRL (Filter-Regulator-Lubricator) to the number 1 port of the mac valve with a nipple. 1 Port is the air in.
- Connect the regulator to the number 2 port of the mac valve. The number 2 port is normally closed. It will activate when a signal gets sent to the mac valve. The setting on the regulator should range from 0-15PSI.
- The number 3 port of the mac valve is the normally open port of the mac valve. This port keeps the brush retracted. The pressure is controlled by the FRL, set the FRL to 50-60PSI.
- Ports 4 and 5 are the exhaust ports for ports 2 and 3. Add some plastic nozzles to ports 4 and 5, this will help the brush retract and extend smoothly.
- The N/O (Port 3)line gets installed at the front of the cylinder(Rod End)- Keeps the brush retracted
- The N/C (Port 2)line gets installed on the back of the cylinder – Extends the brush once the relay is activated - Regulator should be set anywhere from 0-15PSI
