Regular maintenance on your separator tank is needed to be done daily to keep your vacuum line suction working at optimal performance. If you are having issues with suction, please check the following:
- Air entering any of the drops or PVC lines.
- Inspect all you lines for any hair line cracks, broken PVC, bad hose and or fitting. Any of these will cause your system to perform lower than expected.
- Ripped or missing filters in the separator
- Inspect daily the filter bags and ensure that they are intact in the filter base and that there are no rips or damage to them. A defective or missing filter can cause garbage to enter the turbine which will definitely cause suction performance through out your drops.
- Garbage in the PVC lines.
- Check the 4-6 inch PVC pipe that is used to feed the drops and to filter the garbage back into the separator. You may have to snake the lines or hire someone to clear them for you.
Regular maintenance will keep your equipment longer with any unexpected downtime and at the end your customer will be happier.
