The conveyor low air pressure switch will activate a conveyor stop if there is a loss of pressure (air) in the system. Calibrating the chain pressure is important to keep the chain tight and in place. Some chain configuration require high pressures than others.
SC78, D88K, X458 Have a PSI range of 40-60 PSI, LOG CHAIN is recommended to have 60-70PSI of pressure at the switch.
The correct way to adjust the switch is the following:
- Take a small flat head screwdriver and turn the screw all the way to the right(Clock Wise)until the screw bottoms out.
- Set the regulator to the desired pressure SC78,X458,D88K 40-60 PSI - Log chain 60-70 PSI
- Once the pressure has been set on the regulator, start opening the screw(counter clockwise) until the conveyor turns on. Once the conveyor turns on you have set your switch.
