There are two ways for the rollers to come up onto the top deck Automatic or Manual roller up.

Automatic Roller Up -- An automatic roller up uses a tape switch to call the rollers up to the deck.  The wheels of the car rolls over the tape switch which in turn activates a relay and brings up the rollers

Manual Roller Up -- A manual roller up uses a button on the push button station to bring the rollers up.

If you are having issues with your rollers not coming up or all your rollers coming up, please check for the following:

Automatic Roller Up  (Tape Switch -- Relay -- Mac Valve -- Cylinder)

  • Go to the controller and toggle the switch to the manual/on position and see if the roller come up.
    • If the rollers come up when you toggle the switch to hand/manual, test continuity on the tape switch the tape switch could be defective.
    • If the rollers do not come up when you switch the toggle switch to manual, go to the mac valve and push the button. Pushing the button will switch the ports and allows air to go to the normally closed port to activate the cylinder. If pushing the button does nothing then you may have a bad mac valve. If the mac valve works when you push the button then replace the relay and/or fuse in the controller

Manual Roller Up (Push Button Station -- Relay -- Mac Valve -- Cylinder)
