How do i know if my low level switch is working?

The low level switch is an important part of your power pack. This pieces lets the system know if your power pack is running low on oil.  If the power pack is low on oil the switch will activate and shut the power pack down.

To check the low level switch you can do one of the following:

  1. While the power pack is running, pull the low level switch out. This should bring the float down and activate the switch.
  2. Take the wires of the low level switch and ohm the part out. Moving the float should make the ohm meter beep indicating the low level switch is working.

If the float switch does not shut the power pack down or it does not OHM out, replace the low level switch.
