What is the proper RPM for my brush?
RPM plays a big part on how a vehicle gets cleaned. You have to make sure that every car, no matter how fast the conveyor travels, gets the same amount of touches form the brush. Always remember to raise or lower the RPM, chemicals, pressures, to match your conveyor speed.
Please see below for RPM and pressures for your wrap around:
Chain Speed | Brush Speed | Air Pressure Pass | Air Pressure Driver |
50-70CPH | 70-75RPM | 0PSI | 0PSI |
70-80CPH | 80-85RPM | 0-5PSI | 0-5PSI |
80-90CPH | 85-90RPM | 5-15PSI | 5-10PSI |
90-125CPH | 90-95RPM | 15-25PSI | 10-15PSI |
